Ridgewind Farm

Ridgewind Farm offers horse drawn hay wagon rides and tours of the restorative forestry, gardening, organic hay and rotational grazing. The farm features an endangered breed of draft horses called Suffolk Punch from England. We are the only ones that have imported English stallion in the Americas.

Ridgewind Farm Suffolk Punches ~ We would like to invite the public to tour our farm and forest to witness the process of Restorative Forestry through “worst first” single tree selection, featuring state of the art directional felling and the ultimate low impact extraction methods of modern draft animal powered techniques. Our forest products are sold under the community green certified brand name of DRAFTWOOD. Visitors will have the opportunity to be certifiers of our methods. We work with the extremely rare, endangered breed of draft horses known as Suffolk Punch. We have several forested areas easily viewed from the horse drawn hay wagon and will be happy to share this work and our large home garden and organic hay production, rotational grazing, beef cattle and draft horses. We breed and sell these draft horses and baby horses are usually on site for public petting.
