Gnomestead Hollow Farm and Forage mushroom cultivation workshop and collaborative mushroom-inspired farm dinner.

We are excited to announce that Gnomestead Hollow Farm and Forage will be offering the first mushroom cultivation workshop and collaborative mushroom-inspired farm dinner of the season! 

This workshop experience will focus on using a variety of agricultural and forestry byproducts to grow several species of mushrooms, including: Oysters, Shiitake, Lion’s Mane and Reishi. Each participant will create and take home their own GYO Mushroom Kit, along with the knowledge and experience to cultivate mushrooms in their homes, gardens and landscapes. 

Following the workshop, the mushroom dinner will be held on the farm – featuring the fantastic cuisine of Executive Chef Richard Perry (Longfin Grill and Fat Spoon). This dinner will showcase the seasonal bounty of cultivated and foraged mushrooms available at this time in the season. It’s an incredible menu! (See below)
