Chestnut Ridge Farm

Categories: , .

Chestnut Ridge Farm is a working farm with angora/cashmere goats, Jacob Sheep, Scottish Highland cattle, alpacas, llamas and chickens. Visitors can help feed the animals and petting is allowed too!

The farm’s livestock graze many acres along the Blue Ridge Parkway in Floyd, Virginia. Most of their animals have wonderfully soft fleece, which is shorn in early spring and used for felting and spinning. Each spring, they sell lambs, kids, and other livestock.

Max’s House is available for short-term rentals. Surrounded by open fields and mountain vistas, it is located just half a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway at Milepost 152. The home has been lived in and gently loved for many years. There is one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. The house has a fully equipped country kitchen. Great for families! Max’s House has earned Airbnb superhost status. Book now here.
